I am a wanderer and a teacher.  I find great joy in teaching yoga, fitness and swimming, and even though the system sucks, I love my job as a middle school science teacher (geo and life science). I have been a volunteer for Livestrong, working with and on behalf of the cancer community, since 2011.  My work centers around community education, advocacy and I lead a fitness and wellness program for adult cancer survivors.  I am happiest in nature and frequently road trip with my husky, shaggy mix and adventure kitty.
